I want Season 2 to explain the ending of The Wolf Among Us because the ending was a cliffhanger. The Wolf Among Us has to be my favorite video game by TellTale Games and it appears that the sequel will be released in 2021. We're nearing the end of a long road for The Wolf Among Us 2, which was announced in 2017, delayed in 2018, cancelled the same year after Telltale was effectively shuttered, and 'completely restarted' when a new version of Telltale emerged. In classic Wolf Among Us style, they aren't the characters you remember. Before Telltale shuttered, Skybound managed to provide enough funding to finish the final season of 'The Walking Dead. The trailer gives us a sense of the game's heavily stylized visuals, synth score, and introduces us to new characters, including Tin Man and Scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz. Eventually, Telltale would go bankrupt, causing many who joined the studio to be laid off and follow ups such as 'Batman,' 'Game of Thrones,' and even 'The Wolf Among Us' to get cancelled. The game, set 6 months after the first, will see anti-hero Bigby Wolf suspended and in anger management counseling. The Wolf Among Us 2, based on Bill Willingham’s award-winning Fables comic book series from DC’s Vertigo imprint, will now launch in 2019, rather than the latter half of 2018. The stream today also included a first gameplay trailer and new story details. The Wolf Among Us 2 updates coming in Early 2022, promises Telltale Games The Walking Dead Season 5 is not happening, confirms Skybound Telltale Batman Shadows Edition announced then withdrawn. The Wolf Among Us 2’s announcement at The Game Awards 2019 came across as a bit of a shock, as Telltale Games had closed and The Walking Dead: The Final Season barely made it to the end (thanks to Skybound Games).
